Refund policy

All online sales are final, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item you purchased is defective. If you receive a defective item, please contact us at contact@elbowliquor.ca with details of the product and the defect. We will provide further instructions if you are entitled to a refund or exchange.


Upon receipt of the returned product, we will fully examine it and notify you via email within a reasonable period whether you are entitled to a refund or replacement due to the defect. If eligible, we will replace the product or refund the purchase price using the original method of payment.


Please note that there is an inherent risk in purchasing older wines. Despite proper storage, wines may still be defective. We regret that we cannot accept returns for wines more than five years old and costing over $100 unless the producer agrees to replace the wine.


Please note that product images displayed on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Actual products may vary in appearance due to packaging updates, vintage changes, or supplier variations. As such, differences between the delivered product and its online image do not qualify as grounds for a refund.


Please be advised that AGLC does not guarantee delivery of the vintage year displayed in product descriptions. While we strive to provide accurate information, the actual vintage year of the wine received may differ from what is shown. Variations in vintage do not qualify as grounds for a refund.


Refunds do not include shipping and handling charges. All return shipping charges must be paid and insured by the purchaser, who is also responsible for any loss or damage during shipment. Restocking fee will be charged on all approved returns
