Pewen reflects the full potential of the variety and comes from vines planted in 1938, one of the oldest existing vines in the country. It is a mature and elegant wine that seeks to position this variety among the best in the world.

A deep and pretty spicy carmenere with some roasted red peppers, olives and hints of cedar, dark cherries and cocoa powder. Excellent balance with plenty of fine-grained dusty tannins. Nicely austere with the dryness balancing the fruit sweetness. Rather intellectual and really drinkable. Long and subtle.
