​Soalheiro Granit Alvarinho 2023 is a distinguished white wine from Portugal's Vinho Verde DOC, specifically the Monção and Melgaço sub-region. Soalheiro, established in 1974 by João António Cerdeira, was among the pioneers in cultivating Alvarinho grapes as a continuous vineyard in Melgaço. Today, the third-generation family members continue this innovative spirit, focusing on expressing the unique terroir of their region.

Wine Description

This wine presents a bright, lemon-yellow hue and exudes elegant aromas with pronounced mineral notes. On the palate, it is crisp, dry, and persistent, showcasing earthy and stony flavours. A notable sensation of saltiness reflects the influence of the granite soils on the Alvarinho grape. Composed entirely of Alvarinho, this wine is best enjoyed from 2025 onwards.
