Gekkeikan Black & Gold is a unique blend of two sakes, Traditional and Haiku sake.  Gekkeikan's brewmaster selected the best of each fermentation to bring out the finest from both sake types resulting in a beautifully balanced, rich, complex sake.  It is full-bodied with hints of honeydew, papaya, anise, and roasted nuts. Well balanced, this junmai sake finishes long and smooth. A great sipping sake!

Black & Gold is a versatile food sake pairing well with duck, grilled chicken and pork, scallops, and steamed shellfish dishes.  To fully appreciate Black & Gold’s complexity and nuances, enjoy slightly chilled or at room temperature.
