Description

The Château de Montifaud VSOP is a stand-out effort from the Vallet family, with a Domaine and distillery covering more than 90 hectares of prime vineyard where the Grande and Petite Champagne meet in the Archiac. The soil there is teaming with active limestone, meaning the quality of the eau-de-vie is influenced by the chalky content. Plum and apricot, rich oak, floral aroma and vanilla with hints of spicy figs.
