Château Les Grandes Murailles, a Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Émilion, is located near Clos Fourtet, and also belongs to the Cuvelier family. Blessed with a great terroir on the right bank of Bordeaux, the Cuvelier family is driven by the desire to produce timeless wines of great finesse and significant ageing potential. The Château Les Grandes Murailles vineyard covers an island of 1.46 hectares in the heart of Saint-Émilion. It is planted in the clay-limestone soils typical of the appellation. The vines are cultivated in accordance with natural balances and sustainable agriculture.
The Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé Château Les Grandes Murailles 2019 reveals a dark and deep colour. Notes of tobacco mingle with floral touches and notes of red fruits that charm the nose. The attack is round, taut and full of freshness. The palate reveals silky and straight-forward tannins. The crunchiness of the fruit comes through in the finish, giving the finish a great persistence.
