Clos Blanc is a 4-hectare Premier Cru vineyard, that despite its name is entirely planted to Pinot Noir. Wines made from grapes grown in Clos Blanc are dense, structured, and full-bodied with spicy fruit character. No great surprise as Pommard represents some of the deepest, darkest, and sturdiest of all Pinots of Burgundy. The Albert Grivault is typical of Pommard with its distinctive spicy and earth notes. It's round, yet supple. Pair with dark meat game birds such as duck and goose.
