Aberfeldy 12 Year Old Highland Single Malt Whisky 750 ml

A fruity, clean and polished malt with a touch of honey and spice, this classic 12-year-old Aberfeldy single malt Scotch whisky is an excellent introduction to this Highland distillery. Aberfeldy's main claim to fame is at the heart of the excellent Dewar's blend but whiskies like this are putting it firmly in the spotlight. Warm gold in colour. Creamy, Sherried fruit with a trailing hint of smoke on the nose. Prune, custard and espresso bean. On the palate, sweet, malty, a gentle peat but clean mouth-feel. Vanilla, peaches in cream and subtle oak. Ginger, malt, nutty nougat and maybe a little grapefruit zest finish.
